Conservation

The lab focuses on tools that economics can offer to 1) assess social and ecological impacts of conservation efforts, 2) more effectively use budgets to achieve conservation goals, and 3) understand how well market-based approaches work. We are interested in a range of types of conservation, including that by communities who responsibly manage the ecosystems on which they depend.
